Living La Vida Lila Awards 2023

The Lila Latinx LGBTQ Initiative celebrated the first edition of its awards to recognize the trajectory and work for the benefit of sexual diversity.

The Lila Awards were held on Friday, December 8 in the city of Durham at an event attended by community leaders.

At the awards ceremony, the organization's executive director, Alex Cordoba, thanked allies and collaborators for their support during the 20 years of work.

However, the main objective of the evening was to recognize those who have stood out for their unconditional work for the benefit of the LGBTIQ population in the area.
